Some more art...

A couple of bits of new concept art for your viewing pleasure.

The way that concepting works is a multi-step process...the first images posted are quick roughs done by Sparky (one of our artists) these are then further developed to more fit the style of the game.

Quick Update...

We have a new potential character modeller joining our ranks and he is currently trying his hand a a Death Knight...

Appart from that we are still working on the story elements and the brief for the main character.

We are opting for a female lead anda single "class" a Female Druid in fact and more info on her wil follow soon :)

Undead Ogre Portrait


A pretty quick Render of my first thoughts regarding the face of the Undead Ogres.

A new concept...first pass design at the Undead Giant. This chap is the end boss mob for the Ogre location.

These concepts are more to establish a visual style rather then for modelling purposes. Model sheets will be done later.

Torque 1.5 update

Have updated to the most recent version of Torque.

TGE 1.5 brings with it some nice new features and the Show Tool is now part of the deal, excellent value.

Was looking over some of the new features of this build and I'm quite impressed. The grass/vegitation feature is very welcome and the new weather effects are excellent. Will hopefully be able to use this in the project.

As far as pre-production goes on ACH things are moving well. First draft of the Docs are almost done and the asset catalog will be next on the todo list.

Design Docs are a living and ever changing thing so many drafts will be made before we have the final blue print.

Exciting News!

An animator will be coming on board with us soon. He will be doing all our character animation later this year. He's got a vast amount of knowladge and is one of the best animators I've worked with.

The first Entry!

Have started this blog to keep track of the development of Azangrail Crypt Hunters (ACH).

ACH is an action RPG game that is in pre-production and will hopefully be completed within the next year. We have a small established team who I will introduce at a later date.

For now we are simply planning the game and writting a small design doc.
